Learning To Lead with Nehemiah

A 25 day bible study on rebuiding the walls of jerusalem

Nehemiah is a well loved book in the Bible, often plumbed for its wealth of wisdom on leadership . This story of an ordinary man who rose up to meet a need and accomplished what had been an issue for years is very relatable to the average reader. Nehemiah reminds us that we can do the impossible, that a leader dwells in each person and that opposition does not need to distract us from accomplishing our goals. This book was written to showcase the pearls of wisdom from the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem in modern terms. It will challenge you to look beyond the story to the principles in it and help you to grow your leadership skills.

Hi, I'm Rotimi Iyun

I am really glad you stopped by to visit. I hope to get to know you better as time goes on but let me start by telling you about myself.  I became a Christian at the age of nine and for the past 30 years have continued in a love relationship with Jesus. From dealing with life-shattering losses to knowing where to get good shoes on discount, I have learned that a walk with God is very fruitful if you invite him into every aspect of your life.

I am Nigerian – my hometown is Lagos though I spent most of my early life in the sleepy college town called Ibadan. I have three older siblings who are all married with kids, and my mom who is in many ways – larger than life. Growing up, I remember frustrating my mom with always asking questions. Now I just frustrate my friends and google things up quite often. One of my favorite things to do is to curl up with a good book on adventure, murder, mystery and of course romance! I have grown from the very shy child who would cover her mouth when laughing to boisterous laughter that gives me away every time I try to trick someone.
